Who we are
Sophic Holdings was established in 2016 with an aim to provide optimal and sustainable solutions across the surface water, groundwater/hydrogeology engineering realm with across the continent of Africa. To accomplish this, Sophic Holdings ensures that the client problem statement, challenges, needs and desired outcomes are specified, clarified and understood. Effectively, planned and managed procedures, assessments, tests, would then follow which culminates in obtaining quality data that is credible, reliable, representative and accurate, reliable and accurate data useful in provision of optimal and sustainable solutions. As more opportunities came through, Sophic Holdings expanded its services and distinguished the two main divisions i.e. Consulting and Engineering Constructing. Specific services and products cut across the mining, civil and agricultural spectrum.
Our Services
Ground Water Engineering
We offer Borehole Drilling; Geotechnical, Core & Percussion, Borehole Capacity Pumping Test, Conducting Inflatable Packer Testing, Borehole Pump sales & installations and Ground water quality monitoring . We also conduct hydrogeological tests, install downhole monitoring devices and in-stall SCADA Telemetry systems.
Water Infrastructure Development
We have enough capacity and scalability to design, develop and commission surface water projects such as Bulk water Pumping Units Installation, Water Reservoir installation, Pipeline installation, Pumping units installations, Municipal Water Supply Systems Installations, Waste water treatment plants systems installation and irrigation System installations.
Control Systems & Automation
We have a conducted several projects to monitor and fully automate industrial processes or controls using SCADA systems. We also offer specialized IT Engineering services by making use of our team of Software Engineers.
Earthmoving & Plant Hire
We offer transport and plant hire services for bulk transport. We have 34 ton side tipper trucks, and assorted trailers supported by various earth moving equipment for different applications.
Civil Construction
We erect all types of structures; provide highly skilled builders, construction machinery and operators. Our construction projects include, clustered low cost housing and roadworks.
